A person who operates or causes to be operated a sexually oriented business without a valid license or in violation of any provision of this chapter is subject to a suit for injunction as well as prosecution for criminal violations. Each day a sexually oriented business operates in violation of this chapter constitutes a separate offense or violation. A violation of this chapter is a Class B misdemeanor and is punishable as such. [Code 2000 § 16-12-25].
